Morning Routine

Food

In the morning, mix:

• One 10 oz B.F.F. can + one 5 oz Friskies can + one 5 oz B.F.F. can of food.

• Split the food onto 6 plates, a little of each can on each plate.

• Place plates on cookie sheets in the mudroom.

Medications

Griffy (Steroid & Antibiotic Medicine - Morning)

• • Wrap Griffy’s 3 pills inside of some pill wrap.

  • Stick the pill wrapped pills on dry food so he eats it.

  • Watch carefully, He can have a hard time getting the pill wrap in his mouth since he's toothless!

Boopy (Diabetes Medicine - Morning)

• • Let Boopy eat for a few minutes first, so he doesn’t throw up.

  • No pill wrap needed; the pill is flavored.

Lincoln (As-Needed Medicine - Morning)

• • Wrap 1 pill in the pill wrap and he'll eat it up like a treat.

Water Bowls

• Make sure water bowls are clean and full.

Playtime and Roll Call

Play with the cats and give them treats if you have time.

Fun games to play:

• • Throw Greenies from the tub so Boopy and Griffy chase them.

    • Lincoln gets a few Greenies and eats in place.

    • Mama prefers hand-fed treats.

  • Rope toys, the laser pointer, and automatic toys are favorites.

    • Important: Do not leave automatic toys out when leaving. Both toys run on timers and will need to be manually turned off.

      1. The mat toy needs the top button pushed until it flashes red.

      2. The wire toy needs to be turned on and then turned off so the top turns red.

  • Feel free to bring out catnip and silvervine toys—but put them away before you leave.
